We at Karaoke Box Soho are looking for wait(er/ess)/bar staff to join our fun and friendly team. Full training will be given and opportunity to challenge yourselves in taking on all positions! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be friendly, outgoing and able to interact with customers. Previous server/bar experience is a plus but not essential, passion for music and ability to work in a team in a busy environment is a must. We require our staff: - to be reliable - to maintain a friendly atmosphere - to be able to work under stressful circumstances - happy to work until late night/early morning - to be reliable in case of sudden shortages of staff - to be someone who can take their own initiative Main duties in the role: - Meeting and greeting customers - Serving drinks - Taking payments - Keeping the bar tidy - Loading/unloading glass-washer - Polishing glasses - Completing tasks assigned by the general manager Required language: English on advanced level The position will require you to be available at nights and weekends. Working hours: Thursday 18:00 - 3:00 Friday 18:00 - 3:00 Saturday 18:00 -3:00 We expect someone to be flexible in case of staff holiday cover or sickness. Above times are flexible due to the bookings. Monthly service charge is always paid as a bonus on the bank account and it is calculated based on hours worked. We look forward to hearing from you! Karaoke Box Smithfield is looking for a PART-TIME bartender Your responsabilities as a bartender will be: -To check ID's of customers to verify they are at legal drinking age -Prepare cocktails, serve drinks, help customers choosing beverages, explain the menu. -Ensure bar area and equipment is kept clean and tidy -Replenishing the bar -Comply with health, safety and hygiene standards -Provide excellent customer service -Work well under pressure -Closing and cleaning the bar Please bear in mind shifts are from 6PM-3AM The position is parte-time, with 3 shifts. Service charge is also included on top of the hourly rate. Experience is required but full training will be provided! 18+ and a advanced English is a must!
