Personal Injury Litigator is required by a dynamic, fast paced and well established, multi-service Law firm in Blackburn, Lancashire. The successful Personal Injury Litigator will have at least 5 years’ experience as a Litigator. You will have strong interpersonal skills & case management system experience along with having the ability to manage your own workload effectively. This is a terrific opportunity for somebody looking to progress their career as an RTA Litigator. The Role & Requirements: You will handle a Caseload of 50-60 files, which will predominately be RTA. Excellent communication and time management skills. The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with clients. It is essential that you possess minimum 5 years’ Litigation experience. You will quantify damages, prepare client statements and identify and prepare cases for litigation. Handling files by way of obtaining medical reports, liaising with clients, disclosing reports and attempting to reach settlement or issuing cases in line with company expectations. Our client is looking to expand their sizeable Housing Disrepair department at their Pontefract office and is keen to hear from Paralegals, non-qualified fee earners and Chartered Legal executives with upwards of two years Housing Disrepair fee earning experience. You will be largely dealing with Disrepaired house cases on behalf of the claimant, with a mix of pre- litigated and litigated cases. An Housing Disrepair fee earner is required due to growth • Pre and Post Litigation experience is essential • Prioritise a caseload • Work with minimal supervision • Have a proven billing record • Experience of handling your own caseload is essential • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills • Good drafting skills • Strong negotiating skills All levels of qualification are welcomed provided you have upwards of two years strong Industrial Disease experience. We are a firm of solicitors providing a wide range of legal services, but specialising in civil litigation. we are recruiting a General litigation paralegal to assist our solicitors with their litigated case loads in a variety of areas such as financial mis selling, RTA and Business Energy. Please note that this is an in person role and the successful candidate will work full-time in our offices located in Bolton. The role will involve drafting and assisting with various court documents and procedures and so attention to detail and excellent drafting skills are essential. Candidates must have a law degree or equivalent and would ideally have completed the LPC and or have experience of working on litigated civil litigation claims. As a result of their success they are now looking for a Solicitor/Fee Earner with experience of working in a fast paced, cost driven environment. Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Clinical Negligence files, both straightforward and complex Conduct relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim. Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems Correspondence and telephone calls Reviewing files Being part of the support for junior staff Personal Specification: Qualified Solicitor or high level experience in Fee Earning. 2+ years PQE in managing a medical/clinical negligence caseload Confident in litigating matters from start to Finish.
