We are looking to hire a sous chef/ line cooks with personality and drive! Our concept is open kitchen and our guests get to be a part of our day to day kitchen behind the scenes, we are looking for team members that take pride in their space, their team, and cooking, and team members that want to grow with a fast growing company! Food preparation: Chopping, slicing, and prepping ingredients as needed for assigned dishes and catering jobs. Cooking station management: Setting up and maintaining a designated cooking station with necessary equipment and supplies. Cooking dishes: Cooking menu items according to recipes, ensuring proper doneness and presentation. Time management: Working quickly and efficiently to meet order deadlines in a high-volume environment. Communication: Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff, including the chef and expeditor, to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service. Food safety: Adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures. Inventory control: Monitoring and managing inventory of ingredients at their station. Cleaning and organization: Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
I’m looking for a chef to lead a small restaurant that I’m opening in the next month .. I prefer they specialize in soul food /Caribbean food .. need to know how to work commercial stove grill etc/ needs to be organized and experienced in prepping food and may need to work 7 days a week but just for the beginning , I plan on having two chefs ..pay starts between 17-20 hourly depending on your skills , experience and depending on if you went to school.. must be reliable trustworthy and able to listen to directions or criticism without being in your feelings .. and just not how to Cook !! I mean really Cook !!! My focus is providing good food n a clean healthy environment and working with good people who I can depend on .. I hate drama and don’t need any extra headaches , I’m quick to part ways once there’s drama .. must be clean , and must be aware of how you prepare food … I hate going into restaurants and seeing people preparing food in a dirty environment , touching things you shouldn’t be touching while dealing with food or not having on gloves .. people watch that and so do I ..I don’t want to waste anyone’s time so if you aren’t what I’m looking for i rather us not waste each others time ..

We are on the hunt for an experienced prep cook to join our talented team and help prepare food according to our standard recipes. Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards. Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers. Stocking inventory and supplies. Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff. hours would be Monday - Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM roughly 20-24 hours weekly
