This is a requirement to gain your NEBOSH certification. Step 4 - NEBOSH Exams The exams can be sat in one of the official NEBOSH testing centres, or online. (Online only currently available for general certificate). Your Job Upon Completion Once you have completed all of the mandatory training and exams, we will place you into an entry level health & safety role as either a advisor, officer or coordinator, where you will be guaranteed a starting salary of £25K-£45K. About the Role: JSF Event Services is seeking professional, alert, and responsible individuals to join our Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) Team on match days. In this critical role, you’ll be part of the first line of defence in maintaining crowd safety and protecting high-traffic areas from unauthorized vehicle access during major events. You’ll be working as part of a coordinated team to operate and monitor vehicle barriers, interact with event staff and the public, and ensure the secure movement of vehicles through controlled access points. This is a Physically demanding role. Please do not apply if you are unable to walk long distances pushing a heavy load. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor HVM equipment and barriers Control access points for authorised vehicles Maintain vigilance for potential threats or suspicious activity Liaise with security teams, traffic management, and event operations ( Good English speaking & Confident in using Radio to communicate with Control Room ) Provide clear and courteous communication to drivers and pedestrians Follow all JSF Event Services protocols and incident reporting procedures Support emergency procedures when required What We’re Looking For Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Professional, calm, and confident under pressure Good verbal communication skills Ability to follow strict procedures and protocols Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather Must be 18+ and available on weekends and evenings (match/event schedule) Security industry experience or HVM familiarity (desirable but not essential)

To provide exceptional guest service while ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards. This is a dual role that combines hands-on maintenance tasks with guest-facing responsibilities. The Guest Services & Maintenance Assistant will be the “go-to” person for both guest requests and minor property issues, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all visitors Key Responsibilities Guest Services · Respond to guest requests promptly (e.g., delivering missing items such as towels, irons, or remote controls). · Provide a warm, professional, and helpful presence when attending to guest needs. · Support check-ins and check-outs when required. · Handle minor guest issues on-site to ensure their stay remains smooth and enjoyable. Maintenance & Property Care · Carry out minor repair works such as fixing door handles, unblocking drains, replacing light bulbs, or putting up curtains/blinds. · Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and resolve issues quickly. · Liaise with external contractors for larger maintenance or repair jobs, providing access and oversight when needed. · Ensure all guest-facing areas are well-presented and safe. Operational Support · Manage small inventories (e.g., spare remotes, toiletries, towels, linens). · Assist with deliveries and restocking supplies. · Maintain accurate records of any work carried out or issues identified. · Be available on an agreed flexible rota for call-outs and urgent requests. Skills & Experience Required · Proven experience in a hands-on maintenance role (handyman, property maintenance, facilities assistant, etc.). · Strong customer service skills, ideally with experience in hospitality, hotels, or serviced accommodation. · Ability to carry out a variety of minor repair and upkeep tasks confidently and to a high standard. · A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to “muck in” where needed. · Good communication and problem-solving skills. · Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently. · Full UK driving licence (preferred).
