Overview: Live-in Housekeeper for a residential house in Surrey (Hindhead) DUTIES: Responsible for all aspects of housekeeping. Day to day duties could involve: · Thorough cleaning of the properties · Vacuuming and cleaning of floors, carpets and rugs · Dusting and polishing of all surfaces · Laundry and ironing, organising dry cleaning · Schedule all linen changes · Care of fine china, silver and crystal · Maintain adequate supply of household cleaning products · Run errands for the client · Receive and supervise contractors · Household shopping online and shops · Occasional cooking · Assist with table service at dinner parties · Some care of animals (walks, visits to vet etc) · Driving licence is required PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: · Hardworking and discrete · Flexible · Trustworthy · Well presented and professional WORKING HOURS: 40 hours week working 5 days a week with 2 days off (some weekend availability). This position involves working in the great outdoors at music festivals and events such as Hyde Park, Crystal Palace Park, Finsbury Park, Regents Park, Hampton Court Palace, Brentford Stadium among other event sites and parks within Greater London, (hopefully in the sunshine). You will be expected to wear black trousers, a PLAIN navy blue polo T-shirt and sturdy black footwear. You will be supplied with high visibility uniform for safety purposes.
