Responsibilities • Repair and maintain school buildings and facilities., • Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring., • Complete set-ups and tear-downs for scheduled campus events., • Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities., • Perform on-call duties as needed/assigned., • Remove snow with shovels, blowers, and plows when necessary., • Provide logistical support for campus activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment., • Assist with fire drills, lockdowns, and other safety exercises., • Help manage traffic flow and parking on campus., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required., • 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or building trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing)., • Valid driver’s license., • Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a team., • Flexible, friendly, with good communication and time management skills., • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and crawling., • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus., • Experience in CMMS software program(s), • Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching, • Requires climbing and balancing, • Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
