We are looking for a Senior Waiter/Waitress to work alongside Simmonds, our General Manager and the team. The ideal head waiter/aitress will be ideally acquainted with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine and experienced with the role for 2 years in a fast pace and high-volume operation. We now have outlets across London and a Gelato Lab in order to share our amazing products with a wider customer base. This is a temporary role until October 2024. What you will be doing: During the peak summer periods, we produce around 1100 trays of gelato and 4400 litres pasteurized a week. You will be working within a team and be responsible for the production of all Gelato. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks on coffee machines, refrigeration units, and other equipment as needed. Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide technical support to store personnel as required. - Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs. - Health & Safety Compliance Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
