Our products are specified by design professionals including landscape architects, municipalities, developers, and contractors across North America. We are currently expanding our national footprint and are seeking experienced and motivated Manufacturers Representatives to join our team and represent our brand in independent and specialty retail channels. This role will initially focus on the Retail Fireplace industry but will expand to include contract furniture dealers, independent and specialty retail channels, design build firms, wholesale design companies, interiorscaping firms, and outdoor living showrooms. The Manufacturers Representative will develop and maintain relationships with our top-tier client base while providing consistent and exceptional customer support. In this role, you will travel as needed (~25%) to an assigned territory to represent ORE and present ORE products and solutions to independent dealers, showroom owners, and retail sales managers. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience selling to specialty retail clients. The Manufacturer's Representative will work with all clients (internal and external) throughout the sales process. After securing the dealer agreement and opening order, the representative will transition from acquisition to ongoing account management, training, and support. This includes ensuring dealer satisfaction with product delivery and performance, and maintaining consistent communication to drive repeat business and grow the assigned territory. Qualifications & Skills • Must have 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturer's Representative selling high-end furnishings or building materials through independent dealer, distributor, or specialty retail channels., • Proven track record of success in building and managing an independent dealer network, including training retail staff, driving showroom displays, and achieving sales targets with specialty retailers., • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)., • CRM/ERP experience is strongly preferred (e.g., NetSuite)., • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex product specifications into customer solutions and lead technical conversations., • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills., • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and consistently add value., • Proven experience in both maintaining long-standing client relationships and aggressively prospecting for new business, particularly within the Retail Fireplace industry., • Ability to manage an assigned territory, including independent scheduling and required travel (25%)., • A self-starter with a results-driven attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. You will collaborate with clients by conducting scope reviews with clients to understand their requirements, set and work within project schedules, and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the sales and construction life cycle. Youd Be Responsible For • Prospect and onboard new independent dealers and specialty retailers within the assigned territory., • Cultivate long-term, high-value relationships with dealer principals, showroom owners, and retail staff to ensure loyalty and consistent re-orders., • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand dealer needs (e.g., inventory, display, margin requirements) and demonstrate the value of an ORE partnership., • Conduct regular dealer training and merchandising reviews to ensure ORE products are properly represented, driving end-user satisfaction and sales., • Provide ongoing product knowledge training, samples, literature, and technical support directly to dealers and their sales teams., • Represent and promote the full line of ORE retail and site furnishing products to dealer management and retail staff., • Identify new business opportunities by networking and attending key specialty retail industry trade shows and local events., • Accurately forecast sales deliverables and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)., • Achieve all monthly and quarterly sales and dealer network expansion goals while working independently., • Log all dealer interactions, training sessions, and sales activities consistently and reliably in the NetSuite., • Submit regular reports on territory sales activities, new dealer pipeline development, and competitive market trends.
