Job Title: Food Safety Quality Control Technician Job Description: Join our rapidly growing team as a Food Safety Quality Control Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Our company is experiencing massive growth, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who thrive under pressure and have a genuine passion for the food industry. Responsibilities: • Conduct pre-start checks for all production lines, ensuring equipment and processes meet safety and quality standards., • Perform hourly inspections throughout the production process to maintain quality control., • Document findings meticulously and contribute to comprehensive post-production reports., • Train team members on quality assurance practices and procedures for consistency and compliance., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly., • Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results., • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards., • Monitor critical control points and make corrections to prevent deviations., • Perform and document regular audits of processes, procedures, and quality systems., • Manage corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of quality issues., • Train and support production staff on quality control measures., • Oversee sanitation processes to maintain a hygienic manufacturing environment. Qualifications: • Prior experience in quality assurance within the food industry is essential., • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices., • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail., • Passion for food and manufacturing, with a commitment to product excellence., • Minimum 3 years of experience in a food quality technician position., • Proven experience working with GMP and SQF certified facilities., • Strong background in regulatory compliance and food safety., • Exceptional documentation skills with high attention to detail., • Understanding of sanitation processes within the food industry., • Ability to work flexible hours and commit to second or mid shift schedules.
