Job DescriptionDescription: Red Dot Corporation, the leading producer of premium mobile HVAC units and components for heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles, is recruiting for the following position: The Production Supervisor directs daily operations within assigned work centers to ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality products. This role provides leadership to production staff, implements LEAN manufacturing practices, and supports the introduction of new products and processes, focusing on safety and quality as our top priorities. Key Responsibilities • Lead production teams, set priorities, and ensure delivery of quality products on time, on a daily basis., • Apply and teach LEAN/Toyota Production System principles; identify and remove waste., • Coordinate with other supervisors on manpower, work orders, inventory, and scheduling., • Monitor raw material levels and oversee operator-level equipment maintenance., • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations., • Hire, train, and evaluate personnel; maintain training records., • Provide required reports (attendance, quality, training, efficiency)., • Maintain a clean, organized work environment., • Participate in product design reviews and provide feedback on production processes. Requirements: Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required., • 3–5 years of production lead/supervisory experience in manufacturing., • 1–2 years of direct experience with LEAN/Toyota Production System., • Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate effectively across all levels., • Strong understanding of assembly and fabrication processes., • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production data., • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: • Regular standing, walking, and use of hands; occasional climbing, bending, or crawling., • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally., • Visual acuity for close work, depth perception, and color recognition., • Manual dexterity to operate tools, computers, and production equipment.
