Job Description Hospice Liaison We are a growing hospice organization serving 14 counties across the Metro Atlanta area. With a current census of 35 patients and a dedicated team of 3 RNs, 2 LPNs, and 1 existing liaison, we are ready to expand and continue building a compassionate, patient-focused program. The Hospice Liaison plays a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, patients, and families to support growth and admissions. This individual will represent the organization within the community and healthcare facilities to ensure patients and families receive timely, quality hospice care. Our pet sitters have been with us from 2 to 10 years. We are a full service, in the clients home, pet sitting service offering Vacation visits for dogs and cats, 12 hour Overnight stays and Midday dog walks. Job Summary We have an immediate opening for a Vacation and/or Overnight Pet Sitter in the Southeast part of Intown Atlanta. The Vacation pet sitter works mostly in the mornings (7-10AM) and evenings (6-9PM) with bookings 7 days a week. Responsibilities and Duties • The Vacation pet sitter visits clients homes in the morning (7-9AM) and evening (7-9PM) for dog visits with more flexibility for cat visits. Some dogs do require a midday walk as well. These visits are booked 7 days a week with weekends being busier., • Vacation pet sits include walking dogs or letting them out in yard, giving love and attention, feeding, refreshing water and bringing in clients mail and packages. With cats we are feeding, refreshing water and cleaning out litter boxes as well as attention for the kitties., • Overnight stays require the pet sitter to stay in the clients home from approximately 7PM to 7AM., • The sitter needs to be comfortable walking dogs in all types of weather., • Previous Cat and Dog sitting/dog walking experience or pet ownership preferred., • Reliable car is an absolute must and smart phone required., • Availability during the hours listed above., • Pet sitter should live in the area to reduce drive times., • Pet Sitter needs to be very dependable as the pets count on them to be there., • Pet sitter needs to be able to follow directions as each visit is unique. Seeks help and additional training if necessary., • Seeks supervisor or ownership’s approval before approving employee overtime., • Approval of timesheets and overtime by the 10am Monday morning deadline., • Ensures employees have completed their time card approvals., • Limits and monitors employee missed punches and disciplines chronic offenders., • Does not manipulate over time records, monitors overtime proactively but does not remove legitimate employee overtime worked. Does not allow employees to work off the clock., • Must maintain all records in a complete and organized manner as described throughout the MLPG P&P Operations Manual and in full compliance with outside regulatory boards which may be applicable (EEOC, OSHA, EPA, HUD, etc.), • Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates and information about the property performance, and responding to owner requests as needed., • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, EPA and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.\, • Fully implement and enforce all policies and procedures as outlined in the MLPG Policy and Procedures Manuals. SKILLS & ABILITIES Computer Skills Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite. Basic typing skills and knowledge of computers. Use of the company’s payroll system is required. Prior HRIS experience a plus. Certificates & Licenses Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.
