Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician I to join our team. This entry-level role is responsible for inspecting incoming products to ensure they meet our quality standards and are free from defects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining product excellence. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of products to verify packaging, presentation, appearance, performance, and functionality using appropriate testing tools., • Safely operate hand tools and equipment including calipers, power drills, screwdrivers, laser testers, light meters, heat guns, and box cutters., • Accurately document and report any issues that may affect customer satisfaction, contribute to recurring defects, or impact sales., • Provide timely feedback on product failures or performance concerns to the Quality Control Manager., • Verify accuracy and placement of labeling, barcoding, and silk screening., • Develop diagnostic skills to identify and troubleshoot operational or functional errors in products. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required., • Minimum of six months of experience or training in the repair or service of lighting, small electronics, or technical products; or an equivalent combination of education and experience., • Ability to interpret technical instructions, follow established procedures, and maintain precise records., • Strong analytical and observational skills with a high attention to detail., • Effective communication and time-management skills; capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements • Frequent use of hands and arms; ability to communicate clearly., • Regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling., • Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing., • Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 100 lbs., • Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment., • Must be able to perform physical tasks while wearing appropriate safety gear. Working Conditions • Work may be performed in non-climate-controlled environments. Skills & Experience • Inventory management, • Shipping and receiving, • Product inspection and quality assurance, • Packaging verification Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
