Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights \nShift: 3x12's, rotating days of the week, varied shifts \nRRT - Respiratory Therapist (Children's)\nCall Requirements: To be discussed during interview\nLicenses: RRT, Nevada State License, Must apply for State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of Point of Care, or General supervisor of Point of Care required prior to start.\nRequired Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required prior to start.\nExperience Required: Must have 2+ years of acute care RT experience.\nTravelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.\nExtremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center\nThis position performs respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and those ordered by physicians to improve the cardiopulmonary conditions of patients from newborn to geriatric ages.
