This is an incredible opportunity for a talented attorney to apply their expertise in municipal utility districts (MUD), land use, and real estate law. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a variety of complex land use and real estate projects, and to be part of a team that values your skills, innovative thinking, and passion for the law. Responsibilities: • Advise clients on matters related to land use, zoning, and environmental issues, including the acquisition, leasing, and sale of real property., • Represent clients before governmental agencies and bodies, planning commissions, and courts on land use matters., • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions and advise clients accordingly., • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and real estate closing statements., • Manage and oversee all aspects of a transaction, from the initial client meeting to the final closing., • Review, draft, and negotiate various types of real estate agreements, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and land use documents., • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, legal opinions, and briefs., • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school., • Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar., • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Land Use Attorney, with a focus on MUD, land use, and real estate law., • Proven track record of representing clients in complex land use and real estate matters., • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to clients, governmental entities, and other members of the legal team., • Strong research skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle large amounts of complex information., • High level of professionalism and confidentiality., • Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
