Job Description Akkodis is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator for a contract with a client in Dallas, TX. This role involves conducting primary source verifications and maintaining compliance across credentialing files and databases. Rate Range: $25/hour to 29/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Credentialing Coordinator job responsibilities include: * Review and verify credentialing applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and NCQA standards. * Conduct primary source verification and validate provider documentation to ensure all credentialing elements meet internal and regulatory requirements. * Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps in provider information that may impact credentialing or enrollment eligibility. * Maintain and update provider data in the credentialing database with a focus on accuracy and adherence to procedural guidelines. * Communicate with providers and internal teams to address credentialing issues and ensure timely responses and resolutions. * Support cross-functional collaboration with Recruiting, Production, and Education teams to streamline credentialing processes and meet organizational goals. Required Qualifications: * Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred). * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a credentialing role within a healthcare setting. * NAMSS Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), or eligibility to certify within 2 years (preferred). * Experience with CAQH, MD Staff, and Google Suite tools (preferred).
