Why join us? • Competitive pay, • Mon-Fri day shift schedule, • Great medical insurance options, • 401K matching, • Generous PTO and paid-holidays off, • Opportunities for advancement, • Large, stable company Job Details Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and related hospital equipment including lighting, power distribution, communications, and emergency systems., • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, components, and wiring using appropriate testing devices to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct the problem., • Perform preventive maintenance on switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, panels, receptacles, and communication systems to ensure continuous and safe operation., • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with codes., • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and hospital blueprints., • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements., • Collaborate with the Facilities and Plant Operations team to support system upgrades, renovations, and energy-efficiency initiatives., • Assist with emergency power testing, generator operation, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) maintenance to ensure critical systems remain operational., • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations to minimize downtime and maintain hospital operations., • 3–5 years of experience working with commercial or industrial electrical systems, preferably in a large-scale or complex facility., • Solid understanding of electrical theory, NEC standards, and relevant local building codes., • Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment., • Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent state certification., • Prior hospital or healthcare facility electrical experience.
