Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Chemist Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will manage raw materials and operate chemical manufacturing equipment to create new chemical compounds by following precise chemical formulas. You will work closely with engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure that product specifications are met, as well as collaborate with chemical engineers and R&D personnel to scale up processes. Responsibilities • Manage and handle all raw materials for chemical operations., • Operate chemical manufacturing equipment and follow specific chemical formulas to create new chemical compounds., • Work with other engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure product specifications are met., • Collaborate with chemical engineers and R&D personnel to scale up processes.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in Chemistry and Chemical Processing., • Experience in working with R&D personnel and the ability to collaborate with scale-up and process teams., • Advanced education (BS degree) in the sciences or equivalent experience in chemical operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in Chemistry, Laboratory work, and Chemical Synthesis.Work Environment The work environment includes training Monday through Friday during first shift hours (6 am to 2:30/3:30 pm) for three to four weeks. Subsequently, the schedule will transition to a weekend night shift from 6 pm to 6 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
