Job Description Warehouse Associate/ General Laborer Warren, RI 1st shift 2nd shift 3rd shift $15-18/hr (based on shift) Responsibilities: • Follow proper procedures for receiving all products including verifying actual product against packing slips, confirming product integrity, and checking product temperatures as needed., • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of receiving area including loading dock and all equipment., • Unload raw materials from truck and move materials to warehouse storage., • Responsible for quality control by ensuring no damaged raw materials are accepted in., • Operate machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift, pallet jack; high reach industrial truck within standard operating procedures., • Perform daily pre-shift inspections all equipment being operated., • Participate in team based huddles and improvement forums., • Communicate with operators from other shifts., • Cross train on other warehouse functions to build team flexibility., • Provide on-the-job training to new employees., • Adhere/ follow the food safety programs in the department including GMPs and HACCP plan., • Receivers must have basic math skills and should have strong written and verbal communications skills., • Receivers should be able to prioritize work, be detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively with internal department team members and vendors., • Must have knowledge of the safety and company procedures for handling the receiving goods., • Must be dependable and be able to work unsupervised in an efficient manner., • Must be adaptable and flexible in work schedule., • Must be well organized and able to multitask and work under tight deadlines., • Forklift, high lift and pallet jack experience required., • Prior use of scanners and ERP systems requiredCompany DescriptionGreenKiss Staffing Solutions, Inc. brings over 30 years of industry expertise to the forefront of nationwide recruiting. Job Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Bulk Picker for Hot Parts is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing high-priority components (often referred to as "hot parts") for immediate use in production or urgent shipment. This role is essential to maintaining operational flow and minimizing downtime in fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environments. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations * Perform inventory transaction in ERP system * Work under supervision and direction of Inventory/ Logistics Team Leader * Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders * Unload, stack, move, and place products in designated areas * Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc. to transfer and deliver goods * Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval * Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and processing/ shipment as necessary * Collect, pick, prepare, package, and label goods for internal and external orders * Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders * Ensure correct part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers are selected according to pick tickets or work orders. * Stage picked items in designated areas for packing, shipping, or further processing. * Assist in loading/unloading trucks and organizing warehouse shelves. * Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs. * Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader * Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed * Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager * Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Prior warehouse or picking experience, especially with bulk or temperature-sensitive items, is a plus. * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. * Forklift certification preferred. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Perform basic math functions - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, work processing, & data entry) * Operate various weighing, sorting, and measuring equipment * Ability to follow supervisor/manager instructions * Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor/manager * Ability to perform repetitive tasks. * Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
